Just a reminder of our post meeting this Wednesday at 7:00 PM.
This is the most important meeting of the year, as this is when you vote for who will be leading the post for the oncoming year.
Final nominations and elections will take place at this meeting. Nominations for an individual are not complete until the person being nominated has accepted the nomination.

PLEASE HELP YOUR POST WHILE HAVING GREAT FUN! THIS IS THE EVENT TO REMEMBER FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE!
We have been talking about this great fundraiser for several months at the meetings and now Saturday June 7th is getting close. All you have to do is get people to go to the ticket site below and buy tickets. Tell them to click on VFW Post 2323 at the bottom of the purchase tickets page for their probable tax free purchase, to award our Post $20 for every VIP ticket and $10 for every regular ticket they buy at no additional cost to them. If we get people to click for 150 regular tickets and 150 VIP tickets the Post gets $4,500 plus another $500-$1,000 depending on how many of you help at the event, and also get to see at least some of the Beatles show for free if you can help from 11 AM till 7PM on June 7th. If you can help less hours you still have about a 75% chance of seeing part of the show for free.
THERE IS NO FINANCIAL RISK TO THE POST! The knowledge we will gain from working at this event for future VFW fundraisers is Priceless!
This would be enough to pay off our final bill on last year’s new air conditioners plus make other Post improvements!
Please let me know ASAP if you can volunteer for the event. Jobs range from sitting down checking people in and issuing armbands to roving troubleshooters and security. We will also have some uniformed security as backups.
It will be a fantastic event with Beatles N’ Beer, Food and Wine. On top of a big parking structure just like the Beatles last show together.
Only a little over 300 tickets for each of the two shows will be sold. This is a very exclusive event. We expect this to be a sell-out soon. Work fast to be sure our Post gets a big cut. We will be signing up other VFW Posts and other charities if we do not move the very limited ticket supply very quickly.
For more information go to beatlesandbeer.org, see the attached flyer, or email me.

Well it’s now official that we will not be IN the Parade this year but we plan a great party at the Post watching it. We will have all the chairs available out front you want, and the hot dog machine grilling, so come on by for the fun. The Post will be open by noon, or probably a few minutes early so come on by early to get one of the 36 spots in the Verizon Lot across the alley behind the Post. For those that don’t know, we have a contract with Verizon for full time use of that lot thanks to our great member MSGT Harry West who maintains the lot for us. Just no vehicles allowed to stay overnight. The parade will probably start passing by the post between 1:30 PM and 2 PM and end about 4:30 PM. A really fun day for any kids.
We hope to see many of you there.
